Willie has been long known for his programs for the masses. It was Wowowee during his stay in ABS-CBN, Wil Time Big Time in TV5,  and now, Wowowin in GMA. His shows are very popular for the simple entertainment that it brings to its audiences. Not only that, it also aims to help those who are less fortunate and special children. In one of the episodes during the Hephep Hooray segment, a boy rushed to the stage to hug the host. Wowowin staff tried to stop the boy, buy he just wouldn’t let Willie go. Willie then asked if he was a special child, and he was. He then talked to the boy on center stage. The can’t keep his hands off Willie. He even asked the host to kiss him, and shortly after that, he showered Willie with kisses. Seeing the excitement in his eyes, Wil gave him the famous jacket and cellphone plus a bonus of one thousand pesos. The boy returned to his seat with a big smile on his face. Wil was shocked and terrified at first, but he was relieved to know that it was only a fan. It’s not everyday that we see stuff like this happen, and when it does, it surely inspires a lot of people.
