People have been curious and kept asking about Ryan’s absence in Eat Bulaga. Initially, it was a leave because of his feature in an Asian Magazine. Yet after the said event, he still was a no show in Eat Bulaga. One of his co-nominees revealed that Ryan was pursuing a business venture, a thing he wanted to do a long time ago. However, this was not yet official and confirmed by either Ryan of Juday. Recently, Juday was interviewed by PEP and she finally revealed the reason why. Back in 2017, Ryan was had a motorcycle accident. Because of this, he suffered an ACL injury. He undergone several therapies, and went back to his hosting stint in Eat Bulaga. At present time, he had his check-up and  was told that the healing process was slow because he didn’t focus on his therapy. He was advised to take his therapy seriously, for a faster and fuller recovery. This led Ryan to take his break in E.B. The management understands his case, and is willing to take him back when he’s healed. Ryan also used this opportunity to bond more with his kids which he rarely does when he had a job. Overall, the couple is happy to hear that people are missing Ryan’s presence on the show.
