She was offered a spot in Eat Bulaga, where she found her love tandem, Alden Richards. The partnership gained support from millions of Filipinos worldwide making them the number 1 trending topic on Twitter for almost a year. However, it is noticeable that the two stars are trying to go their separate ways. Maine is now focusing on her hosting and acting career, while Alden is pursuing a career in modelling and film as well. In an interview, Vic agreed that the two needed time away from each other. It doesn’t mean that the love team is ending, it just means that they’re exploring new things on their own. It’s not possible for two people to be together during the entire duration of their career. Eventually, they would have to part ways. This isn’t a negative thing because the two will grow and develop individually. Vic guaranteed that he will support the two every step of the way regardless of the career path they choose.
